Tase 30 guests with the Taser. It is unlocked on the Research Table, and since update 0.3.5 any visitor counts — not only cheaters and people sneaking in.

How to complete it

Tool
Taser
Target
30 guests, any type
Unlock
Research Table, from two stars
Research cost
6 research points
Quest block
Zen and the Art of Pool Maintenance
  1. Open the Research Table and unlock the Taser. It becomes available once the park has two stars and costs six research points — if you are short, the research points page lists the quickest ways to earn them.
  2. Walk to the tool table. The Taser is placed there with the other tools once it is researched; pick it up so it lands on your hotbar.
  3. Point it at a guest until the "Taze Guest" prompt shows, then left-click. The guest drops and the task list ticks up by one.
  4. Repeat until the task list reads 30/30, then go back outside the park and talk to the Yogi for the next step.

What the Yogi actually says

The step sits in the second Yogi block, Zen and the Art of Pool Maintenance, straight after you return the Zen Towel. When you talk to the Yogi, this is the whole hint you get:

Guide a spark through their spirit. Just a brief flash of awakening. A little jolt keeps the karma moving.

Read it as a verb and it stops being cryptic. A spark and a jolt through a guest is a Taser hit. The task list then spells out the count you need: Channel energy through guests, 0/30.

Any guest counts now

The Yogi line arrived with the Wellness Update on 28 November 2025. In that first build the step only credited bad visitors — the hit that moved the counter to 1/30 in the screenshot at the top of this page was on a cheater, with the "Caught a Cheater! Good job!" notification to match. Four days later the developer changed it.

So if an older video tells you to hunt down fence-jumpers and drunk guests, that advice is out of date. Zap whoever is nearest.

If the counter is not moving

  • Researched the Taser but it is not on the tool table? Restart the game; it normally appears after a reload.
  • Check you are on the Yogi step and not a nasty-guest objective. The task list header should read Zen and the Art of Pool Maintenance.
  • In co-op, every player can finish Wellness missions since update 1.0.28, so the tasing does not have to be done by the host. See multiplayer for the other shared-progress rules.
  • Struggling to land hits on moving guests? Since update 1.0.63 you can hold the button to shoot any of the guns instead of clicking each time.

The Taser is worth having beyond this quest. The star-road nasty-guest objectives need it too, and one player farmed that count during the Mafia event. Its sibling the water gun is the tool for the Yogi step that asks you to cool down guests who catch fire.
