Open Settings, type your Twitch channel name and press Connect. A bot called waterpark_sim joins your chat. Viewers type !visit to become one of your guests or !hireme to become a staff member, adding m or f to pick a male or female model. It is first come, first served, and a viewer has to type the command again after leaving the park.

Connect your channel

  1. Open Settings. Since 0.3.71 (February 2026) this works from the main menu as well as the in-game menu.
  2. Type your Twitch channel name and press Connect.
  3. Watch the status indicator, which shows whether the bot is connected.
  4. Check your chat for waterpark_sim. When a streamer asked whether the bot has to be made a moderator, another player answered no.
  5. Tell chat the commands, or paste the panel text below.

The chat commands

CommandWhat happens
!visitClaims an upcoming visitor, who walks in with the viewer's display name
!hiremeClaims an upcoming staff member with the viewer's display name
!visit m / !visit fSame, choosing a male or female visitor
!hireme m / !hireme fSame, choosing a male or female staff member
From the 6 September 2025 announcement and the 0.2.30 notes, which added the m and f option.

Panel or chat text you can paste

Type !visit to join my waterpark as a guest, or !hireme to work here. Add m or f after the command to pick your character. First come, first served.

The commands claim an upcoming visitor or hire, so names appear as new guests arrive and new staff join, not instantly.

Already is. Like it says on the description !visit m and !visit f. Same for hireme

For a short while in September 2025 female staff requests were ignored while new staff models were made (0.2.35); by October the developer's reply above treated both options as working. Names only go on park visitors, never on pedestrians walking past outside, a fix from the same patch.

How viewers get picked

As explained there viewers will have to use the command to join. It will be first come first served. And yes they have to redo it again to appear again after they have left the park
Hai Cayplay[developer]· 28 September 2025
  • One list per viewer. A viewer who types !visit and later !hireme stays a visitor. The developer traced it to Twitch: "if they're already queued for one of the lists, they don't get added to other lists on request".
  • That explains a complaint in the same thread: a streamer fired a viewer so they could re-apply with a different model, and the viewer never appeared in the hiring list again, while still turning up fine as a visitor.
  • A visit ends when the guest leaves. For regulars to come back, they type !visit again.
  • Those are the only built-in commands. Players have asked for more, including a thread titled "!peeinpool and !poopinpool NEED to be Twitch chat commands".

When the bot won't connect

  • Status stuck on Disconnected in mid-September 2025 was Twitch's side, not yours. The developers said they "were down for a few days due to Twitch being Twitch" and brought it back in hot fix 0.2.38.
  • Heavy traffic: support on Discord told one streamer the bot was "experiencing a high level of traffic which may cause the bot to have a slower or failed connection", and to try again later.
  • Stop hammering Connect. During the outage one streamer's game crashed after pressing it several times, and another crashed just trying the integration.
  • Retype the channel name. Since 0.2.32 the game strips invisible non-breaking spaces from it and gives better feedback when a connection fails.
  • Trying from the main menu? That broke for a while and was restored in 0.3.71. If it fails there, connect from Settings inside your park.
  • One viewer can visit but never gets hired: that is the one-list rule above, not a broken bot.

19 Sep 20250.2.38Hot fix restoring the integration after the Twitch outage
11 Feb 20260.3.71Works from the main menu again
From the official announcements and patch notes. Nothing in the 1.0 notes changes the commands.

The 0.2.38 fix came with a thank-you to Matthew from Crowd Control for suggesting a different way to build the connection. Crowd Control is a separate service that lets viewers trigger effects in games, and it already had a Waterpark Simulator pack at the time, which the developers linked in the same post. If you want chat doing more than naming your guests, that is the route. For friends who want to play in the park rather than watch it, see the multiplayer guide.
