What we collect

Waterpark Simulator Wiki is a static website. We do not ask for accounts, we do not run a login system, and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details. There is no form on this site that sends us anything.

Local storage

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It stays on your device, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Embedded content

Some pages embed YouTube videos. The player itself does not load until you click play, but the preview thumbnail is fetched from Google’s image host (i.ytimg.com) as soon as the page renders — that request carries your IP address and user agent to Google, and no cookies are set by it. Once you press play we load the player from youtube-nocookie.com, which limits cookie use; from that point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.

Advertising and cookies

Advertising on this site is served by Adsterra (adsterra.com), a third-party ad network. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to measure and serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Each ad loads inside its own frame under /ads/ on this domain; the ad content itself comes from Adsterra’s servers, and Adsterra’s privacy policy applies to what those requests collect. We do not see or store any of it.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many vendors at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. This site does not show a consent banner. If you do not want advertising cookies, block third-party cookies in your browser settings or use a content blocker; the pages work the same either way.

Outbound links

We link to Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store, Nexus Mods, Reddit and Discord. Those sites set their own cookies and have their own policies. We receive nothing when you follow a link.

Affiliation

This site is an independent fan wiki. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CayPlay, Valve, Sony or Microsoft.

Changes

If this site later adds analytics or advertising, this page will be updated to say exactly what is collected before that change goes live.
