Waterpark Simulator Platforms: PC, PS5 and Xbox

Every platform, and where it stands

All three versions of Waterpark Simulator launched on the same day rather than staggering a console port months later. That matters when you are deciding where to buy: none of the three is a cut-down edition trailing behind the others.

Windows only does not mean PC only

The Steam listing's platform flags read Windows true, macOS false, Linux false. Those describe the PC build, and they get misread constantly as meaning the game is a PC exclusive.

They are two separate questions. A game can be Windows-only on Steam and still ship on PlayStation and Xbox, which is exactly the situation here. If a page tells you Waterpark Simulator is PC-exclusive, it has confused the Steam OS flags for the platform list.

Nintendo Switch

There is no Switch version and none has been announced. No Nintendo storefront listing exists, and the developers have not said anything about one either way.

That is worth stating plainly because the game's art style and subject matter make a Switch release feel likely to a lot of people. Likely is not the same as announced.

If handheld play is the actual goal, the Steam Deck already runs it. You are trading Nintendo's screen for a Playable-rated experience where the biggest complaint is that interface text is small — and this game keeps a lot of information on screen at once.

PS4 and Xbox One

Both are last-generation, and neither is named on the storefront listings. The PlayStation Store page lists PS5 as its platform; the Xbox listing names Series X|S and marks the game as optimised for Series consoles.

Absence from a listing is not a formal statement that a version will never exist, but it does mean you should not buy on the assumption that a last-gen console will run it.

Mobile, and the APK problem

There is no iOS or Android version. Search results offering a Waterpark Simulator APK are not distributing this game — no Android build was ever released, so there is nothing legitimate to download.

Which one to buy

One fact decides this for most people: there is no crossplay. The developers have said it was never planned, so everyone you intend to play with has to own the game on the same platform as you.

1. 1Work out which platform the majority of your group already owns. That is almost always the cheapest landing spot.
2. 2If anyone in the group has Xbox Game Pass, the game is included — that side costs nothing extra.
3. 3On PC it is $12.99 on Steam, usually cheaper than buying a console for it.
4. 4Remember co-op caps at four players including the host, so a group of five splits regardless of platform.

What you get on every platform

The content is the same 1.0 release everywhere: custom slide building piece by piece, staff hiring and assignment, ragdoll guest physics, a night shift mode, security and mascot staff, the mafia loan questline, and a star rating running up to five stars and then a Diamond tier.

The PC version has one advantage the consoles do not: mods. Roughly 65 community mods exist on Nexus Mods, mostly quality-of-life tweaks for staff, cleaning and building. Console platforms do not allow them.

The other game with the same name

There are two different Steam games called Waterpark Simulator. This site covers Steam app 3293260 by CayPlay, released 31 July 2026 at $12.99.

A separate, unrelated title — app 1362910 by Digital Tours Interactive — has been on Steam since February 2021 and sells for $0.49. If a page quotes a 2021 release date, a sub-dollar price, or that developer name, it is describing the other game entirely.
