Waterpark Simulator Tools: Duck Gun, Royal Hammer and More

The Duck Gun costs $20,000 and the Royal Hammer $100,000, both bought with cash from the old man at Caymart with no research needed for the gun. The Royal Hammer is cosmetic. The golden hammer, a free secret, fixes anything in one hit. The plunger gun and paint gun came with 1.0, and the trumpet, megaphone and walkie-talkies only work in multiplayer.

What Caymart sells, and for how much

Caymart is the shop in the street outside your park, run by an old man. Two tools sit on display there under price signs, and a locked one shows the cash you need to buy it.

The Duck Gun

No research needed. Just some cash for the old man at Caymart. Show the world how much you love rubber ducks.
Waterpark Simulator 1.0 patch notes[developer]· 31 July 2026

On paper it is a toy that sprays rubber ducks. In practice it is how players reach the rainbow chest: look straight down, hold fire and spam jump, and the recoil lifts you over Caymart and the invisible wall. That route turns the $20,000 gun into a $5,000 payout once, so buy it because you want it, not for the chest.

Three duck things get mixed up. The Duck Gun is the handheld from Caymart. The water cannon is a duck-shaped structure you build and sit in, which the patch notes describe as letting you "power wash any guest or player in range". And the plain water gun, the one the task list keeps asking for, is a different tool again, used to put out burning guests and clean smelly ones.

Royal Hammer or golden hammer

The developers were upfront about the Royal Hammer at launch: "No extra function beyond a regular hammer, but have you seen the bling on this thing?" It is a $100,000 status symbol. One YouTuber who bought it was still saying he did not know what it does 49 minutes into the episode.

The golden hammer is the opposite deal. It is free, it lies on a pile of rubber ducks in the city outside a new park, and two August patches turned it from a curiosity into the best repair tool in the game: first stronger than the regular hammer, then able to fix anything in one hit. The catches are that you carry only one, it does not survive quitting, and a fully expanded city park can no longer reach it. The route is on the secrets page.

  • Royal Hammer

    Caymart purchase

    $100,000

Same repairs as the starter hammer. Buy it for the look, late, when money has stopped mattering.

  • Golden hammer

    Secret pick-up

    Free

One-hit repairs since 14 August. Also found on the beach map since 21 August. Resets every session.

The other tools 1.0 added

  • Plunger gun

    Movement

Described at launch as making you "feel like a superhero with a grappling gun" for reaching high spots fast. Spamming it could make your hands disappear and break the game until a restart. Update 1.0.91 lists that as fixed, but players in the bug thread said it happened again on the new build.

  • Paint gun

    Decoration

Paints at range. Since 2 August it paints guests in any mode, which is what the paint-a-guest objective needs. Miss and you tile the floor instead: open the floor tool with right-click and plain sand is the third pattern at the bottom.

  • Water gun

    Guests

Cools down guests on fire, cleans smelly ones, and covers the spread-love objective. You can hold the trigger to keep firing, a change the patch notes sold as no more 40 clicks to clean a guest.

  • Sledgehammer

    Building

Not new, but the tool people ask about most. It is how you delete anything you built until the Demolish button is researched, and breaking a building returns part of the price, which is as close to selling as the game gets. The full routine, and moving pools instead, is on the delete and sell page.

  • Taser

    Guests

A research unlock, and the answer to Channel Energy Through Guests and the nasty-guests task. It works on the Mafia man outside the park too.

Multiplayer-only gadgets

Three tools exist for co-op. The walkie-talkies and the megaphone sit on the desk by the ticket computer.

  • Walkie-talkies: anyone holding one hears you from anywhere on the map, which beats proximity voice in a big park.
  • Megaphone: for when friends cannot hear you across the park, you shout louder.
  • Trumpet: plays music. The patch notes suggest doing it right next to a friend's ear.
  • Throwing items at other players counts as PvP, so a host can switch it off in the lobby settings. See the multiplayer page for the rest of the host options.
