Unlock the water gun early, keep pool water clean, use trash cans properly, and hire a few strong staff over many weak ones. Progression runs through park stars up to five, then a Diamond tier that needs a 6-prestige Wonder Attraction.

The first hour

  1. Get the basics running: tickets, a couple of slides, a pool.
  2. Unlock the water gun. It earns research points and puts out fires.
  3. Place trash cans where guests actually walk, not just where there is space.
  4. Hire a lifeguard before you need one — drownings hurt your rating fast. Injured guests are a separate job for the medkit injector.

Everything early is hands-on. You are selling tickets, serving food, saving drowning guests, fixing broken slides, cleaning up, and scooping mess out of pools yourself until staff take over. That is the intended experience, not a sign you are doing it wrong.

Less is often more

The advice that comes up repeatedly from experienced players is to focus on the quality of your guests and park rather than the raw number of visitors. A packed, filthy park rates worse than a smaller clean one, because cleanliness is a direct input to the rating.

  • Check pool water regularly — it feeds the park rating directly.
  • Deal with naughty visitors rather than letting them accumulate; security staff eject them.
  • Hire staff with good stats instead of filling every slot.
  • Decorate as you go; decoration points gate the star objectives.

The star progression

The task list drives everything. Each star tier hands you objectives mixing money targets, build requirements and decoration thresholds, and you cannot skip ahead of it.

StageWhat it asks for
Early starsBasic operation, first guests, first slides
Mid starsProps at specific prestige levels, a museum visit
Five stars$500,000 earned, two slides at 4 prestige
Diamond$1,000,000 earned, one Wonder Attraction at 6 prestige

The mid-game wall

The most common stall is an objective asking for several props at a given prestige level while those props are still locked behind research you have not unlocked. People report being stuck around two stars with no obvious way forward.

What to research first

Tool upgrades pay for themselves, because nearly every research point you earn comes from doing something by hand. An upgraded mop makes graffiti cleanup meaningfully faster, and cleanup earns research while protecting your rating.

Making money early

Early income comes from tickets and food, and the food side rewards variety. Running hotdogs, lemonade and ice cream from the start does double duty — it feeds three separate achievement counters and gives guests more to spend on.

Do not over-build stalls before demand proves itself, though. Each staffed stall needs its own assigned vendor, and an idle vendor still draws wages. Add a stall, watch whether it queues, and only then assign someone to it.

The endgame is a prestige problem

Both final gates are about prestige rather than money. Most players hit the earnings thresholds long before they can build something that scores 4 or 6 prestige, so the last stretch of the game is spent affording and tuning a few showpiece builds.

  • Build long slides with loops and spirals, not straight runs.
  • Decorate heavily around the build the objective is measuring.
  • Keep the park clean while you push — mess drags the rating.
  • Check the prestige number before committing money to a build.

The studio has kept adding to the game weekly since launch — key rebinding, a free camera, custom slide renaming, new slide pieces — so a park you finished a month ago has more tools available now than it did then.
