Waterpark Simulator Secrets: Golden Sledgehammer and More

The best-known Waterpark Simulator secret is a golden sledgehammer lying on a pile of rubber ducks just outside a new city park, next to a blue queso duck. A golden beach ball sits on a nearby rooftop. Both reset every session. The others: the $5,000 chest at the end of the rainbow, the posters that unlock Mama and Kade, and the alley your staff walk to after closing.
The golden sledgehammer and the queso duck
This one needs a fresh city park, and the difficulty does not matter. The moment you spawn you can leave the park grounds and walk around the neighbourhood, and the pile of ducks is a short walk away. You can skip the tutorial.
- Start a new park on the city map.
- Run along the leaf-covered strip on your right-hand side and follow it around the corner.
- Keep following the Do Not Enter signs, then turn right.
- The giant pile of rubber ducks is there. The golden sledgehammer and a blue queso duck lie on top of it.
- Pick one up. The game only lets you carry one, and it is gone the next time you load in.
- To get back to the park, open the pause menu and press Respawn. It drops you in front of your pool.
It is more than bling now. Two August patches changed it: first "Golden hammer is now more powerful than regular hammer", then "Golden hammer now fixes anything in one hit". That makes the free golden one better than the $100,000 Royal Hammer from Caymart, which the developers say does nothing a normal hammer cannot. The price list and what each tool does are on the tools page.
The golden beach ball on the rooftop
A golden beach ball sits on a flat rooftop in the same neighbourhood, with the museum and Caymart in view from the climb. Get onto the roof, sprint and jump onto the post beside it, then onto the tree, and the ball is in reach. Like the hammer, you only get one per session.

Where your staff go after closing
At the end of the day your employees and your visitors walk off to two different places in the city. The staff spot is an alley you reach over the rooftops: climb the street light, jump across to the light on the other side of the road, then onto the wall, an umbrella, two roof sections, and down into the alley. Wait there and your staff arrive one by one.

Getting back into the park afterwards means opening the pause menu and pressing Respawn.
The rainbow chest
On some days a rainbow appears over the park and a $5,000 chest waits at its far end, outside the invisible wall. Reaching it takes a Duck Gun rocket jump; the route is on the rainbow page. The beach map has a rainbow too, but one player who tried both the plunger gun and the zipline said it was impossible to get around the invisible walls there.
Secret hires and famous visitors
Two staff members are unlocked from posters on walls rather than the hiring list: Mama, a security guard, and Kade, a lifeguard. According to the developers, the star next to a staff name marks a studio team member who designed their own character. Both poster hires and the random stars are covered, with stats, on the star staff page.
Visitors include cameo guests players recognise, from Mark E. Plier to CaseOh walking through the gate. They can be switched off under accessibility in the settings. Qeso is not a cameo and stays.
Odd days and odd guests
| What you see | What it is |
|---|---|
| Every visitor is a duck | A special event day. The event pop-up announces that all visitors will be ducks, and they even sound like it. |
| A tourist bus, or aliens trying to kidnap guests | Special events from the 1.0 update, which range from a tourist bus visiting town up to an alien abduction attempt. |
| Swim shorts walking around on their own | The invisible guest trait: "only their body is invisible, so don't be surprised to see some shorts walking around the park". It was made rarer on 28 August. |
| Zombies, vampires and skeletons in the queue | Halloween weather, which the 1.0 notes list among the weather types. In October 2025 it filled parks with monsters. |
| A guest trailing rubbish everywhere | The trasher trait, explained on the pool maintenance page. |
Some secrets are achievements in disguise, including a couple that do not describe themselves until you earn them. The achievements page lists the hidden ones, and the Yogi quests are the other part of the game written as riddles.
